Type or edit your text for the watermark, or select a text watermark from the drop down menu, and then select the text formatting that you want. If the text watermark makes it difficult to read the text on the page, increase the transparency of the watermark text, or select a lighter color for the watermark text.
You can use the Size drop down menu to change the size of the watermark text. If you have the Word desktop application, use the Open in Word command to open the document and insert or change a watermark there.

May 08, · In the Gallery dropdown, click Watermark. In the Category dropdown, the first time you do this, click Create New Category and enter a name for a group of watermarks. If you start the name with an underscore, the group will appear at top of the Watermark gallery. For later watermarks, you can choose the same group or create another category. Go to Design > Watermark > Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box. Select OK. On the Design tab, select Watermark. Select Custom Watermark, and then choose Picture Watermark. Click Select Picture. Find a picture of your own, or search Bing images. If the current document is based on a specific template, that template will be in the list; otherwise you’ll be shown only Normal.
